DARS at Sam Houston State University

• DARS is an automated system developed by Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, for tracking students’ progress toward academic program completion. The system was developed to help students, faculty, advisors and administrators understand which requirements students have completed and which they must fulfill to graduate.

• DARS provides timely information on students’ degree requirements progress by calculating institutional coursework, transfer courses and courses in progress when producing audit reports.
