Charlotte is a Clinical Psychology graduate student. She began taking yoga classes during graduate school and was amazed with all of the benefits yoga provided. Charlotte decided to get her yoga teaching certificate so she could share her love for yoga to other students. She also enjoys attending zumba and cycling group fitness classes and try's to maintain an active life while being a student! |

George is an undergraduate Musical Theatre major with an emphasis in dance. George began teaching as a Pilates instructor, saving up to get his Zumba Fitness certification. After receiving his certification, he now teaches a wide range of formats including his current Zumba and Core classes. George is currently pursuing an AFAA certification. George loves smiles and encourages everyone to participate in his class if they want a great workout in a fun-filled atmosphere. “It’s not the size of the hips, it’s the motion of the ocean… in your heart!” |

Hannah is an undergraduate Music major with a minor in education. Hannah began taking group fitness classes as a freshman through the rec and by the end of the year was an instructor. She can be found teaching cycling and strength core classes. Currently, Hannah is a certified group fitness instructor and hopes to soon pursue her personal training certification. She loves her Bible study, music, and the students that come and work hard in her classes. She believes that there is something for everyone to enjoy and benefit from by participating in group fitness. |

Jessi is a master’s student in the Clinical Psychology Program at SHSU. After graduating from UNT in 2009, Jessi began taking group fitness classes in the Dallas area and soon discovered a love for indoor cycling. She is currently pursuing her group fitness certification through AFFA, and recently began leading Cyclefit at SHSU Rec. Sports. Jessi is excited help other people accomplish their fitness goals, while making it fun, enjoyable, and motivating! Jessi lives by the following quote, “The only constant is change.” |

Katie is a Music Education major. She started taking group fitness classes at the RSC her freshman year, and ended up falling in love with yoga. She then decided to get her certification in yoga, and is now teaching. She hopes to give everyone much inspiration, smiles, and great benefits from her classes! |

Katie is an undergraduate Education major with a minor in English/Social Studies (4-8 th grade). She has just recently started instructing Cardio Kickboxing, but as a former cheerleader throughout her high school years, she brings a lot of excitement and motivation to the table. She knows the importance of exercise and loves the idea of getting (or keeping!) in shape in a group setting, so come check out her class! |

Katie is a sophomore undergraduate Musical Theatre major here at Sam Houston. She wants to one day pursue a career in either performing or teaching theatre arts. In her spare time she loves staying active, performing, and spending time with her family and friends. She recently got involved with group fitness, and fell in love with the positive energy which the classes bring. Katie teaches step, but hopes to train in as many areas of group fitness as possible. Kristyn is a Psychology major and legal studies minor. After graduation she hopes to pursue a career in forensic psychology or law. In her spare time she loves to work out and spend time with her friends. She took her first Zumba class in December 2010 and has been in love ever since. Kristyn got her B1 certification in March and started teaching classes right after. She loves the energy and fun that's involved in Zumba classes and lives by the quote "it works if you work it!" |

Lizeth is an undergraduate from Houston, Texas seeking to major in Mass Communication. She is hoping to work in a broadcasting television station, behind the scenes or in front of the camera. She is a certified Zumba instructor, and loves to work out. She took her first Zumba class in the summer of 2011 and knew that she would enjoy teaching it in the future. Mallory is a Senior majoring in Mass Communication with a minor in English. Fitness fanatic and devoted vegetarian, she enjoys running and training for half marathons. Staying active and being healthy is something she takes seriously and she has a huge passion for helping others reach their fitness goals. You can find her teaching Step classes that are so much fun, you don't even realize it is a workout. "Ain't nothing to it but to do it!" |

Staci Bonura is an undergraduate Theater major at Sam Houston State University. While visiting her parents in Kentucky over the summer she took Zumba to pass the time, and ended up loving it. As a dancer herself she really took to learning new and exciting things to put into the classes she took. At the end of the summer she decided to get her Basic Zumba Level 1 license to teach when she came back to school. Staci started teaching Zumba in Fall 2012 and from then on has greatly enjoyed instructing her classes. For Staci, Zumba is not just a workout it is a performing and teaching opportunity. She wants others to love her Zumba class as much as she loves teaching it. Staci likes to say " Zumba is a party so it doesn't matter if you can do the moves...just move!" Come enjoy one of her Zumba classes when you get the chance, you will love it! |

Stephen is a Music Education major here at Sam Houston State. He plays the trumpet in many different ensembles and is very passionate about his field of study. Aside from his musical endeavors, Stephen started attending group fitness classes his sophomore year and enjoyed the encouragement that his fitness instructors gave him. Wanting to help spread the encouragement that was given to him, Stephen was hired as a group fitness instructor. He is a part of Team Active Body and is currently pursuing an AFAA certification. Tara is an undergraduate Musical Theatre major. Tara is a Certified Turbo Kick instructor and currently leads Cardio Kick at SHSU Recreational Sports. She loves sand volleyball, playing piano and making fitness a group experience. Her students motivate her to work hard through their perseverance and tenacity in every class. Cardio Kick is a great way to get loose, have fun, and punch out any of that college stress. |
