Face-to-Face Orientation for Part-time Faculty
Orientation is required for new part-time faculty in the College of Education beginning with the Fall 2012 semester and each semester thereafter. In the future, the Orientation will be virtual and available on the website.
The inaugural orientation will be a face-to-face and is scheduled for Friday, August 24, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. An invitation was sent electronically in July. If you did not receive the invitation and you are a new part-time faculty member, please contact Ms. Sherry Hirsch at edu_slh@shsu.edu to receive additional information. The agenda for the Orientation is included below.

Orientation for Part-time Faculty
The purpose of the Online Handbook and Orientation for Part-time Faculty Committee is to create a website for Part-time Faculty and provide them with an online handbook and a virtual orientation. The website will serve as a continuous guideline and source of real time communication for our highly-valued faculty members.
