Foreign language study enables communication across languages and cultures while opening doors to insights about those cultures and their diverse perspectives on life. Our Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish offers activities designed to enhance linguistic and cultural experiences, while giving a competitive edge in today’s job market of local, national, and international employers.

Our Department of World Languages and Cultures consists of a small group of involved faculty who work closely with students to reach advanced levels of listening, speaking, reading and writing the Spanish language.

Students who plan to teach secondary education in Texas public schools can double major in Spanish and Education.
