Interpersonal Process Group

This group operates under the premise that, although each person may have problems that seem very different, common to most is a basic difficulty maintaining healthy relationships.  The group is designed to serve as a safe and supportive “social laboratory” within which students can work toward practicing honest and direct communication and interpersonal exploration.  The group will provide students with a place to take risks and try out new behaviors, such as being assertive or expressing difficult feelings.   Group members will share, learn, and improve together with their fellow students in a small group setting. A professional counselor will lead the group and ensure a confidential and safe atmosphere is achieved.

Time:  Wednesdays 2:00-3:30

Group Leaders:  Julie Swanson, Ph.D. & Joel Looney, B.A.
