VIDEOS POSTED - CDMRP PRESENTATION AT AMERICAN ASSOCIATION FOR CANCER RESEARCHERS 101ST ANNUAL MEETING

CDMRP is pleased to announce that we have posted the first of four videos from CDMRP’s session Department of Defense Funding Opportunities for Cancer Research at the American Association for Cancer Research 101st Annual Meeting on April 19th.  The video contains the first segment of the presentation – an overview of our organization by Captain E. Melissa Kaime, M.D., Director of CDMRP and is posted on our website at AACR 101st Annual Meeting 2010 Conquering Cancer Through Discovery Research

We will continue to post the remaining three videos during the following weeks containing the three remaining segments of our AACR presentation:

Sam Houston Water 2010 - ORSP invites all faculty, staff, and students to view this presentation about SHSU's new company that was formed called Active Water Sciences.

Description of video contents: iReport—Sam Houston State University develops water purification technology. Military funded research now in use in Afghanistan. Worldwide applications when fresh water supplies are damaged by storms, or when wastewater treatment plants are at, or over capacity. New patented technology cleans wastewater in 24 hours by using bio-reactor.
