Synopsis - Think you have what it takes for a
career in advertising? If you’re serious about a career in
the advertising industry, the 4A’s is serious about helping you make it happen.
Through the Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP),
students work at real advertising agencies, take on real job responsibilities,
and learn from real-world business situations and industry professionals.
Students selected for the annual 10-week paid summer internship program, which
runs from early June to mid-August, will hone their skills in one of the
following advertising disciplines:
- Account Management
- Art Direction
- Copy Writing
- Broadcast Production
- Print Production
- Digital/Interactive Design
- Media Planning and Buying
- Public Relations
- Program Management
- Strategic/Account Planning
In addition, MAIP interns receive a
mentor and participate in a host of professional development and networking
events. The accomplishments of the intern class are celebrated with a graduation
ceremony in New York City at the end of the program. The graduates then get a
jump start on their job hunt by attending the 4A’s MAIP Diversity Career Fair,
immediately following the graduation.

Synopsis - The Fellowship brings
eligible students to Washington, D.C. for internships that
explore current public policy issues of critical importance to the
high technology sector of the economy.
Size of Grant - The sponsor awards a
$5000 stipend. The program runs from June 18 - August 10, 2012
(tentative).
