The mission of the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) at Sam Houston State University is to promote all aspects of research and other creative endeavors at this institution.
Goals:
- To promote research administration that fulfills the university's research endeavors, instruction, and public service missions
- To provide administrative support in seeking and securing external funding opportunities that support the creative and scholarly accomplishments of SHSU faculty and professional staff
- To provide administrative support that is fully compliant with the guidelines of sponsored and research administration
