The Sam Houston State University Pre-Veterinary Society is an organization that supports, informs, and unites students pursuing careers in veterinary medicine and related fields. Through various activities, members gain a better understanding of the various aspects of the field of veterinary medicine, and learn to maintain a standard of excellence throughout their academic career. Membership is open to all current SHSU students.

Membership:
Our membership is open to any SHSU student regardless of major or minor.
What we do:
The organization participates in Bimonthly meetings, entertains guest speakers, enjoys various off-campus trips and experiences, and participates in community service projects.
Community Service:
Animal welfare volunteer opportunities (non-compensatory) and university sponsored events.
Meetings:
