Bio
Lisa Chaddick earned a MPH from University of Michigan and has worked at SHSU since 2011. In her time at SHSU, she has been an instructor, a health educator for the Student Health Center, the Bilingual Healthcare Studies program coordinator, and now serves as the internship coordinator for the Department of Population Health. As an alumna of SHSU, Ms. Chaddick strives to help her fellow Bearkats reach their next level of success in life, whether that is employment or graduate school.
Ms. Chaddick is a third year doctoral student in SHSU's Higher Education Leadership program. Her research topics include adult learning theory, challenge and support theory, and experiential learning and how they apply to student growth and success. Ms. Chaddick is a member of both the national and Texas branches of the Cooperative Education and Internship Association, and she is the faculty advisor for Eta Sigma Gamma Honors Health organization. She is an LGBT and students-of-color ally.
