Bio

Linda has been a faculty with the School Nursing since 2013. She strongly believes in teaching through community service. She is the 2019-2020 recipient of the David Payne Academic Community Engagement Award. She teaches Community Nursing, leads the nursing study abroad program, leads the interprofessional disaster simulation for the COHS, and is faculty advisor to the Student Nurses Association. She is a published author and has presented at many national conferences. Her research focus is in cultural humility and teaching/learning strategies including reflection, and college-student wellness.
