Physical and Mental Health Resources
Overview of Physical and Mental Health Services
The university offers a comprehensive health insurance plan for all students, which includes access to 24/7 telehealth services and virtual telemental health services by appointment. This means that students can receive medical and mental health care remotely, at any time of day or night, from the comfort of their own home or dorm room.
We understand that accessing in-person healthcare can be challenging, particularly during busy academic schedules. That's why we've partnered with AcademicLiveCare to provide easy and convenient telehealth services for our students. With just a few clicks, you can schedule a virtual appointment with a qualified healthcare provider and receive personalized care for your medical or mental health needs. https://shsu-com.myahpcare.com/benefits
