College of Sciences administration, faculty, and staff convened for the Annual Fall Meeting on August 26, 2014, to kick off the 2014-2015 school year. Dean John Pascarella presented awards of excellence to faculty and students during the meeting, introduced new faculty and staff, and discussed the College's accomplishments over the past year in enrollment and teaching, research and scholarship, and service. The Dean also reviewed goals and challenges for the College during the coming academic year.

The Graduate Student Excellence in Research award was earned by Daniel Haarmann (Biological Sciences).
Kaylee Kerbs (ASET) received the Student Excellence in Teaching award.
An Adjunct Faculty Excellence in Teaching award was presented to Sharon Frey (ASET). Ms. Frey's award was accepted on her behalf by Dr. Stanley Kelley (ASET department head).
An Adjunct Faculty Excellence in Teaching award was also presented to Ava Fujimoto-Strait (Geography).
Dr. Madhusadan Choudhury (Biological Sciences) was presented with the Faculty Excellence in Research award.
The Faculty Excellence in Service award was earned by Dr. Rick White (Chemistry).
Dr. Martin Malandro (Math) was presented with the Faculty Excellence in Teaching award.
