About the New York Senior Showcase
The Senior Showcase in New York City provides a transitional opportunity for selected graduating musical theatre majors to be introduced to the city, attend Broadway productions, workshop events, and participation in professional auditions along with a Showcase audition for market professionals.
Alli Lesko was born and raised in Austin Texas, where she developed her love of music and theatre. While pursuing her degree at Sam Houston, she was given the opportunity to play Jenny in The Shape Of Things, sing in An evening at Jacques’: The Music of Jacques Brel, an ensemble member in Oklahoma, and most recently Eleanor Dunbar in Footloose. When Alli is not performing, she enjoys long runs and going to any open body of water.

Anna Pritchett is a native Texan who has been performing for as long as she can remember! In 2015, she was a recipient of the Dallas Summer Musical HSMTA award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Mrs. Potts in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. She was also a member of marching band where she played clarinet and conducted. Anna has played Hermia in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream where she used original pronunciation (OP) dialect. During the summer of 2018, Anna was a company member in Raven Rep, a summer series at Sam Houston State University where she appeared in Harvey and Smokey Joe’s Café. Most recently, Anna has appeared in A Macbeth (witch) and Footloose (Betty Blast).

Brandon Schultz has appeared in The Rocky Horror Show (Brad Majors); The Fantasticks (El Gallo); Pippin (Pippin) for which he won an Irene Ryan Acting Award and most recently Silence (Ethelred) where he worked with a Middle English/Original Pronunciation(OP) dialect. Regionally: Unity Theatre: Snow White Goes West (Sneaky Sam) and Pinocchio (Signore Volpone); Stages Rep.: Panto Starforce (Captain Abs). When Brandon is not performing, he enjoys learning about history and all forms of art.

Brita J. Fagerstrom is from Juneau, Alaska. Most recently she appeared in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (Siobhan) at the KCACTF Region 6 Festival. Other memorable roles include Bev/Kathy in Clybourne Park; “Margarett in Silent Sky and Tracy in the Regional premiere of Into the Wild: A New Musical by Nikos Tsakalakos and Janet Allard. Outside of performance, Brita enjoys crafting baking. When not on stage or behind the scenes, Brita enjoys baking her famous “Triple-Chocolate-Chip, Peanut butter, Carmel, Sea Salt" cookies for friends and family.

Cameron Khalil Stokes has been performing since he was a child singing and dancing along with Barney on the TV in the living room. Cameron’s desire has always been to perform. He has appeared in Hairspray (Motormouth Mabelle) directed by Greg Graham, Oklahoma! (Andrew Carnes), Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at the Alley Theatre, and most recently Elf at Queensbury Theatre. He is the creator and director of the show Opportunity and is currently directing the play Mountain Top as part of the Directors’ Debut Series at Sam Houston. Cameron has faced much adversity and learned not give up but to persevere.

Cara Fowler is currently directing Eleemosynary by Lee Blessing at Sam Houston and hopes to continue directing as well as stage and film acting after graduation (May 2019). Cara has been seen in The Wolves (#25), Oklahoma! (Aunt Eller), The Fantasticks (Hucklebee) and Smokey Joe's Cafe. Regionally she performed as a Supernumerary in Wagner’s Götterdämmerung with the Houston Grand Opera. Cara’s other passions include writing, carpentry, welding and collecting pineapple memorabilia.

Caroline Parks has loved singing and performing since she was a small child. She has appeared in Hairspray (Velma Von Tussle), directed by Greg Graham; Chicago (Roxie Hart); Oscar Wilde’s Lady Windermere's Fan (Mrs. Erlynne); The Wolves (#46) for which she received an Irene Ryan Acting Award and most recently Footloose (Vi). She is very dedicated to her craft and is extremely thankful for all of the things she has achieved thus far.

Hunter Emmett Burke was born and raised in Texas and has been in the game since he first stepped onstage in the Southeast Church of Christ Christmas Pageant in December 2006. While a student at Sam Houston, Hunter has been seen in The Credeaux Canvas (Winston), Lady Winderemere’s Fan (Cecil Graham), Our Lady of 121st Street (Gail), Hairspray (Sketch), Damn Yankees (Vernon). Regionally he has appeared in Parade (Young Soldier), Oliver! (The Artful Dodger), and Godspell (We Beseech Thee Soloist). Jordi Viscarri professional credits include Alley Theatre: The Christians; Main Street Theatre: Pinkalicious (Peter); Stages Repertory Theatre: Panto Cinderella (Fluffy), The Corrido of San Patricios (Patrick); Queensbury Theatre: Big River (Huck); AD Players: Hero Squad (3-D); Houston Grand Opera: Faust; Film: Bully the musical film. Jordi also works as a teacher with Theatre Under The Stars’ (TUTS) The River program, which provides accessible performing arts education to kids with disabilities. Performing, directing, writing, and teaching are Jordi’s greatest passions. After graduating (May 2019), he will continue pursuing his professional career in theatre wherever that journey takes him.

Madi Grossman has appeared as Ado Annie in Oklahoma!, danced in the Manson Trio and was a Player in Pippin and was a company member in An Evening at Jacques’: The Music of Jacques Brel. Madi recently appeared in the world premiere of Panto Star Force as Princess Glaiza at Stages Repertory Theatre in Houston, Texas. In Madi’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her Yorkie fur-baby, Cooper!

Oleode Oshotse was born and raised in the great city of Houston, Texas. He started singing in church with a solo of Away in a Manger at 6. His love of singing and acting led him to Sam Houston. He has been seen in A Raisin in the Sun (Joseph Asagai), Hairspray (Motormouth Kid), Chicago (Harry), The Fantasticks (Henry), Smokey Joe’s Café, An Evening at Jacques’: The Songs of Jacques Brel, Thoughts of a Colored Man (Love), and Panto: Star Force (Aunt Temporary) at Stages Repertory Theatre. Oleode has also been an Intern/Junior faculty member with The Broadway Theatre Project (BTP).

Osmar Yahir Martinez is originally from Nueva Ciudad Guerrero, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Credits include: Chicago directed by Deb McWaters; Oklahoma, Pippin, An Evening at Jaques’: The Songs of Jacques Brel and most recently Footloose. In addition to speaking English and Spanish, Osmar would love to learn French and Portuguese. He wishes to travel the world and explore different cultures. Yasmyn Sumiyoshi is from San Antonio, Texas where she started dancing when she was three years old. Her love of musical theatre developed rapidly after her parents introduced her the musical CATS at the age of two. Some of her favorite credits include All Shook Up and Mamma Mia (ensemble) at Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS), and The Wolves (#11) at SHSU. Yasmyn also works for the company Mischief Management as a coordinator for BroadwayCon. Upon graduation (May 2019), Yasmyn may move to New York City or travel the world pursuing her passion for performing.
