Manuel Triano-López, Ph.D.
Dr. Triano-López earned a PhD degree in Spanish Linguistics with a minor in Law from Indiana University in 2005. In 2013, he was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure.
Dr. Triano-López’s teaching interests include training prospective English / Spanish translators. His current research focuses on language and law issues in the United States, such as language rights in the criminal-justice system, and academic freedom at public colleges and universities.
Dr. Triano-López spends his free time learning portrait photography and Arabic; attending opera performances; reading contemporary American fiction; and traveling to his native Spain to visit family and friends.
