The $50 non-refundable application fee can be paid on your Self-Service Account.
High School or College transcripts are considered official when sent directly from the school to the Admissions Office. Reach out to your school’s registrar or records office and request for the official transcript to be sent to us either electronically, by email, or mailed to our office. No, you do not need to submit test scores. If you decide to submit them, please contact the appropriate testing agency to request that your score report be sent to SHSU (SAT school code: 6643; ACT school code: 4162). Test scores will only be considered if they enhance your chances of admission; submitting them will not negatively impact your application.
No, an essay is not required with the application. However, a personal statement may be requested if applicable.
