Attendance Exception Form

All Sam Houston State University first-time freshman students are required to attend Bearkat Kickoff the week prior to the Fall 2024 term. In very rare cases, a student with a significant hardship can be granted an exception.

Students requesting an attendance exception, whether missing one day or several days, must fill out the Bearkat Kickoff Attendance Exception Request Form.
