About half of those students are first-generation, and we are proud to have been named one of the top universities in Texas for social mobility by U.S. News & World Report two years in a row.

Huntsville, Texas, is located on the edge of the Piney Woods of East Texas and conveniently between Houston and Dallas on the I-45 corridor. Many faculty members call nearby Conroe and The Woodlands home too.
