Career & Work Experience
1. When did you begin working at the Career Success Center?
I started working at the Career Success Center in January. I had come in to use our resume critique service and learned that the front desk position was open. Everyone in the office is so friendly, I was eager to jump right in!
2. What’s your favorite part about working at the Career Success Center?
I have learned so much about our campus and all the amazing resources that Sam has to offer! My favorite thing about working here is getting to share all my new knowledge with other students.
3. What career path are you hoping to pursue after graduation?
I hope to continue working in higher education while making strides to open my own business within the next five years.
4. What’s your dream job?
I would love to become a serial entrepreneur and own and operate multiple small businesses.
5. What’s your biggest goal?
My biggest goal is to reach an optimal work-life balance. I hope to build self-sustaining businesses so that I have plenty of time for my family.
Personal Interests & Fun Facts
6. What’s your favorite food?
I love Greek food! My go-to lunch is a Greek salad, and I’m on the lookout for the best spanakopita.
7. What’s your favorite movie?
Passengers (anything with Chris Pratt lol).
8. What’s your favorite music genre?
I listen to just about everything, but I love indie music! The Walters, Mac DeMarco, and Vacations are just a few of my favorite artists.
9. What are your favorite hobbies or interests?
Attending concerts is one of my favorite things to do in my free time, and I am a regular at Cynthia Woods. Other than that, you can find me at Summer Moon Coffee.
10. What’s something you’re really proud of?
I’m really proud of the efforts I’ve made to finish my degree. It’s true when they say the going gets tough, but after taking some time off, I was able to come back refreshed and give it another go. Since then, I’ve been able to truly thrive on campus and surround myself with a wonderful network of people.
