Chris Tritico is one of the founding members of Tritico Rainey, PLLC in Houston, TX. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and the Tenth Circuits, and the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, The Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, The Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association, President 2012 and The Houston Bar Association. A criminal defense attorney his entire career, Mr. Tritico handles cases in both state and federal courts. A regular speaker, Mr. Tritico has presented workshops in areas such as administrative rights for teachers and on criminal law. Mr. Tritico is the host of Fox26Law on Fox 26 KRIV and the legal analyst for Fox 26 and New Radio 740 KTRH in Houston.
A 1982 graduate of Sam Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, Mr. Tritico is a former President of the Alumni Association and a Life Member of the Association. He has served on the Advisory Committee for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) of which he is also the Former Chairperson. In 2014, Mr. Tritico was placed on the CHSS Wall of Honor.
Mr. Tritico has served on the board of the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for over 20 years and emcee’s events for the chapter regularly. After losing their daughter Maria to gun violence in December 2020 Chris and Debbie created the Maria Tritico Project to fund issues important to their daughter.
