Welcome to Sam Houston State University! Our Veterans Benefits Processing team is thrilled to have you here and ready to support you as you begin this exciting chapter of your life.
Created in 2023, our department is dedicated to providing you with personalized assistance as you navigate the process of utilizing your veteran and dependent education benefits. Whether you're a veteran, an active service member, or a dependent, our team is here to ensure that your transition to SHSU is seamless and successful.
What We Offer:
- Fully online document submission system.
- Step-by-step guidance on benefit utilization.
- Clear answers to your questions about VA and TVC education benefits.
- Timely updates and support to ensure you meet deadlines and requirements.
All documents must be submitted through our online certification request system. Documents submitted via email, fax, or mail will not be accepted. Students in need of equipment are able to use the self-serve kiosks located in the VBP Suite (Estill 228) to digitize documents and submit certification requests.
