After engaging in a comprehensive and collaborative discovery and research process, Sam Houston State University continues to pursue four Pillars of Excellence upon which all of its strategic priorities are founded. These Pillars are Enrollment, Retention, Completion, and Agility - areas that define our focus and drive our success. The first three Pillars - Enrollment, Retention, and Completion - have specific goals and measurable targets attached to them. The last Pillar - Agility - highlights progress on initiatives derived from our Keep-Stop-Start survey recommendations, which were introduced by each Division and College in April 2024. While the dashboard only reports selected highlights, the entire collection of initiatives and their statuses can be accessed by clicking the link below. These updates will be provided three times a year at the end of each semester.
