WomensHistoryMonth630March is Women’s History Month and Sam Houston State University will celebrate the many achievements of women with events throughout the month hosted by committees from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and the College of Education.

Additionally, numerous lectures, roundtable discussions and diversity council events will also take place during the month of March as a part of Women’s History Month.

“The committee is very focused on creating a slate of events for everyone on campus,” said Jannah Nerren, associate dean for Planning and Assessment in the College of Education. “All month long we will have events that will be informative about women’s history and will appeal to the many diverse groups we have here at SHSU. There are opportunities to have everyone represented.”
