CAM's 'Dateline: Democracy' To Feature Lesley Stahl

Sam Houston State University’s College of Arts and Media hosts “Dateline: Democracy,” highlighting a stellar line-up of interviews with national media reporters and professionals during the fall 2020 semester.
Although the interviews are part of an online independent study course, the series is also open to the public and will broadcast live on The College of Arts and Media Facebook page (@SHSUCAM or facebook.com/SHSUCAM).
The upcoming guest visitor for the class will be Lesley Stahl, 13-time Emmy Winner, “60 Minutes” correspondent and former White House correspondent for CBS News. The interview is set for Tuesday, October 6 at 1 p.m. CST.
“Dateline: Democracy” is a part of the Department of Mass Communication’s curriculum and will be hosted by Peter Roussel, Philip G. Warner Endowed Chair, Department of Mass Communication and Professor Mike Yawn, director of the Center for Law, Engagement, And Politics.
Previous interviews include David Hume Kennerly, the official White House photographer under President Gerald R. Ford and recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography. Upcoming virtual visits will include legendary ABC News anchor and former White House reporter Sam Donaldson and others.
