Paint The Town Orange And White

The Sam Houston State University football team is hosting James Madison University in the semifinals of the FCS playoffs on May 8 at Bowers Stadium. SHSU is encouraging all Bearkat fans and local businesses to help paint the town orange and white to get ready for the game by displaying Bearkat signs and gear all around Huntsville.

To help spread the Bearkat spirit, Sammy the Bearkat and members of the Orange Pride Dance Team passed out orange “Eat ‘Em Up Kats” signs throughout town.

Bearkat fans can receive their own rally posters at the Bearkat Ticket Office, Tough Shirts, KSAM Radio or the Huntsville/Walker County Chamber of Commerce.

Share your Bearkat spirit with SHSU fans on facebook, instagram or twitter displaying your sign or orange and white gear this week. Fans can secure tickets starting as low as $15 through gobearkats.com. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. and the game will also be broadcast on ABC.
