SHSU Recognized By College Factual For Academic Programs

BellTowerfromMallLargeSam Houston State University academic programs are recognized among the top tier in the country for top ranked majors, best for the money majors and top ranked majors for veterans according to statistics website College Factual in its 2023 rankings.

In its yearly rankings, College Factual analyzes over 2,000 colleges and universities to determine which ones are the best in a variety of categories, such as overall value, quality, diversity, which schools are the best for each major and much more.

College Factual ranked SHSU as No. 562 out of 2,241 colleges and universities in the country on its 2023 Best Colleges list. This is an improvement over the previous year, when the university held the No. 741 spot on the Best Overall Colleges list. SHSU also holds the No. 21 spot on the Best Colleges in Texas ranking.

Overall, Sam Houston State University was awarded 519 badges in the 2023 rankings.
