Sam Houston State Among Best Online Programs In National Ranking

Sam Houston State University has earned national recognition in U.S. News & World Report. Considered the global authority in education rankings, the publication recently announced the 2023 Best Online Programs. Nine programs offered by SHSU are included.
Designed for individuals looking to complete or further their education, the rankings evaluate online bachelor's and master's degree programs at regionally accredited institutions. While the methodologies are different for each discipline, they all incorporate metrics specific to online learning.
SHSU online programs recognized:
- No. 3 in Best Online Master's in Criminal Justice Programs
- No. 2 in Best Online Master's in Criminal Justice Programs for Veterans
- No. 20 in Best Online Master's in Computer Information Technology Programs
- No. 10 in Best Online Master's in Computer Information Technology Programs for Veterans
- No. 30 in Best Online Master's in Education Programs
- No. 9 in Best Online Master's in Education Programs for Veterans
- No. 75 in Best Online Master's in Business Programs (excluding MBA)
- No. 95 in Best Online MBA Programs
- No. 61 in Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans
