SHSU Alumnus Assumes Leadership As Chairman Of TSUS Board of Regents

The Texas State University System Board of Regents elected Alan L. Tinsley as chairman of the board during the board's quarterly meeting.
Tinsley, first appointed to the board in 2015, lives and works in Madisonville, where he owns his own law practice. He also owns and operates Landmark Title Company and Triple T Ranch, both in Madisonville. Tinsley holds Board Certifications in Tax Law and Probate and Estate Planning, specializing in business entities, real estate, oil and gas, contracts, and civil and commercial litigation.
A distinguished alumnus of Sam Houston State University, Tinsley serves on various boards and committees and performs pro bono work to help those in his community. He has served as vice chairman of the board for the past two years.
