SHSU's Online Programs Receive Favorable Rankings from U.S. News & World Report

Sam Houston State University’s online programs have once again received high rankings from U.S. News & World Report. The new rankings reflect the university’s continued dedication to providing high-quality, affordable education to all.  

The annual report lists the top online programs at the undergraduate and graduate level for disciplines such as master's in business (MBA and non-MBA programs), criminal justice, education, engineering, information technology and nursing. Also included in the report are program rankings based on veteran enrollment.

No. 4 in Best Online Criminal Justice Programs for Veterans 
No. 12 in Best Online Master’s in Education Programs for Veterans  
No. 14 in Best Online Master’s in Information Technology Programs for Veterans 
No. 29 in Best Online Master’s in Information Technology  
No. 31 in Best Online Master's in Education Programs  
No. 54 in Best Online Bachelor's in Business Programs 
No. 64 in Best Online Bachelor’s Programs for Veterans 
No. 67 in Best Online Master of Business Administration Programs for Veterans  
No. 74 in Best Online Master's in Business Programs (Excluding MBA) 
No. 100 in Best Online Master of Business Administration Programs  
No. 113 in Best Online Bachelor’s Programs
