Competition Registration

Entrance and registration for the 2015 Carmine Caruso International Jazz Trumpet Solo Competition is in two steps.

Step 1: Go to http://competitions.trumpetguild.org/competitions/2015_Carmine_Caruso_Competition.

On that page, please fill out the form with the requested information (items 2a-2c in the competition guidelines.)

Only upload mp3 files! Do not use any special characters when naming those files, such as s _ ? / ! @ # $ $ % ^ & * ( ) or spaces.

If you have not uploaded MP3 files, your application will not be reviewed/ judged. If you need to re-apply, please ensure you have mp3 files ready, and re-submit them. Email caruso@trumpetguild.org to inform them that you have submitted two sets of files. You will need to pay the reapplication fee again if you have uploaded the wrong files the first time.

Step 2: When you are done on this page, e-mail the following items (2d and 2e from the competition guidelines) to caruso@trumpetguild.org in order for your application to be considered:

1. A copy of a document verifying your date of birth in PDF format such as a passport, driver's license, or birth certificate
2. Copies of Lead Sheets in PDF format for all performed selections with accurate chord changes as recorded for the preliminary round

You will receive confirmation that these were received within 48 hours.
