James B. Shields is the Box Office Manager for The College of Arts and Media at Sam Houston State University where he oversees Box Office operations for the Department of Theatre and Musical Theatre, Department of Dance and the School of Music. Past work includes Performing Arts Business Manager for Bowling Green City Schools in Bowling Green, Ohio and Accounts Manager for the Huron Playhouse in Huron, Ohio. James went to grad school at Western Governors University of Texas where he earned both a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Management and Leadership. As an undergraduate James attended Bowling Green State University and earned a Bachelor of Liberal Studies in Theatre Management.
