Commencement Spotlight: Ke'Von Paire
This fall, Smith-Hutson Scholar and Homecoming King Ke’Von Paire will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University (SHSU).

Third-year student doctor Caroline Podvin, Class of 2027, entered her internal medicine rotation eager to learn how experienced physicians work through complex cases and uncertainty.
Three graduate students and three professors from the Sam Houston State University College of Criminal Justice have been recognized by the American Society of Criminology for their research. The recipients were presented with their awards during the 2025 ASC Annual Meeting, held Nov.12-15 in Washington, D.C.
