TSI Assessment Version 2.0

TSI Assessment Version 2.0 (TSIA2)

The Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2) is a helpful tool designed by the State of Texas to set you up for success as you start your college journey at a public college or university in Texas. These tests assess your skills in reading, writing, and math to make sure you’re ready for college-level coursework. Your results, along with your academic background and personal goals, help your academic advisors recommend the right courses to support your growth and ensure you’re on the best path for success.

Pre-Test Requirements

Before students can register to take TSIA2 they must participate in a mandatory Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA). The institution where you plan to enroll in college courses is required by the State of Texas to provide this Pre-Assessment Activity, as well as document your participation in the activity prior to testing.
