Establishing Leadership In and Through Education
ELITE (Establishing Leadership In & Through Education) is an academic success program designed to support and empower multifaceted students from various backgrounds to achieve academic and personal success in college. Our program provides a range of services and resources aimed at addressing the unique challenges faced by students.
Mission: We are committed to holistically develop underserved students to achieve success.
Vision: ELITE closes the gaps in academic success, leadership development, and fostering a sense of belonging.
Our program components include:
Community building: Opportunities for students to connect with one another and build a supportive community on campus, often through social events, small groups and roundtables.
Mentoring: Participants are paired with peer-mentors who provide academic and personal guidance and support.
Leadership development: Participants engage in leadership development opportunities, such as leadership training workshops, community service projects, and networking events. This engagement helps students develop the skills and confidence to become leaders on campus and in their communities.
