Establishing Leadership In and Through Education
ELITE (Establishing Leadership In & Through Education) is an academic success program designed to support and empower students to achieve academic and personal success in college. Our program provides a range of services and resources aimed at addressing the unique challenges that college students face.
Mission: We are committed to holistically developing students to help them achieve success.
Vision: ELITE works with students to close the gaps in academic success. Additionally, participants are awarded with opportunities for leadership development and community building.
Our program components include:
Community building: Opportunities for students to connect with one another and build a supportive community on campus, often through social events, small groups and roundtables.
Mentoring: Participants are paired with peer-mentors who provide academic and personal guidance and support.
Leadership development: Participants engage in leadership development opportunities, such as leadership training workshops, community service projects, and networking events. This engagement helps students develop the skills and confidence to become leaders on campus and in their communities.
