2024 Bearkat Football Season

The Alumni Association is very excited about the upcoming season 2 in Conference USA! There are changes to alumni association tailgating  for both Bearkat Alley and the exclusive Alumni Association tailgate.

SHSU Bearkat Alley will remain to lot 12 at the intersection of Bowers Blvd. and Bobby K Marks Dr. Please read the university policies and procedures for tailgating HERE

The Alumni Association will host two pre-game tailgates. One will be in Bearkat Alley and focus on our student alumni along with all alumni coming through Bearkat Alley. The main tailgate area will continue for the 2024 season in the Bearkat Pavilion between the stadium press box and the athletic fieldhouse. This prime location allows for a fantastic atmosphere that captures the spirit of our Bearkat Pride. The tailgate will be FREE for association Life Members and $10 for all non-life members and children over the age of 12.  

The tailgating space is an excellent spot for reconnecting with old friends, enjoying delicious food and drinks, and engaging in spirited conversations about our beloved team.
