Adult Education, Graduate Certificate

The 7-week mid-fall term begins October 15. Start in October, finish in December in plenty of time for the holidays.
The Adult Education certificate will provide students with strategies and techniques necessary to effectively educate adults. Individuals holding either a bachelors or masters degree who wish to provide professional development or trainings to educate adults in schools, business, non-profit organizations, and/or institutions of higher learning would be prime candidates for this certificate.
Students in this program will develop skills from courses covering:
- Advanced Techniques and Methods of Instruction
- Human Growth and Development Across the Life Span
- Integrating Current Technologies in Teaching
- Developing Curriculum for Adults
This Graduate Certificate is eligible to receive Title IV funding – Direct Unsubsidized Loans and Graduate PLUS loans by request. To be considered for aid, students need to submit a FAFSA.
