Unity Voicemail: Updating Greeting

Use the below instructions set up or change your voicemail greeting.

• Personal Line:

  On-Campus:

  1. Ensure the PIN is set up.
  2. Select the messages button on the phone
  3. When prompted, select option 4 (Setup Options)
  4. Then select option 1 (Change Greeting) and follow the prompt

  Off-Campus:

  1. Ensure the PIN is set up.
  2. Dial 936-496-MAIL(6245)
  3. Press *, then enter the phone extension (Ex. *43476)
  4. When prompted, select option 4 (Setup Options)
  5. Then select option 1 (Change Greeting) and follow the prompt
• Shared Department Line:

  On-Campus:

  1. Ensure the PIN is set up.
  2. Select the messages button on the phone
  3. Enter * and the phone extension (Ex. *43476)
  4. When prompted, select option 4 (Setup Options)
  5. Then select option 1 (Change Greeting) and follow the prompt

  Off-Campus: 

  1. Ensure the PIN is set up.
  2. Dial 936-496-MAIL(6245)
  3. Press *, then enter the phone extension (Ex. *43476)
  4. When prompted, select option 4 (Setup Options)
  5. Then select option 1 (Change Greeting) and follow the prompt
