Housing Contract Renewal

Residence Life Housing Renewal for '25-26 is here!

Thank you for living with us this year! We hope that remaining on campus will continue to enhance your university experience. Current residents should have received notification that we are refunding your $200 housing deposit. If there is no Spring 2025 balance due, the $200 will be refunded in full. If a student owes a balance for Spring 2025, the $200 will be applied to it.

Housing renewal will take place in four phases this year and require a non-refundable $50 application fee. This is different than previous years so make sure to review the videos below. These videos will help you to better understand the renewal process and how to renew in the Housing Portal. You should first watch What You Need to Know and then view the Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3, or Phase 4 video for step-by-step instructions on renewing. 

Phase 1 - Renewal of Same Space: March 4 from 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Areas NOT Available for Renewal:

  • Elliott Hall 
  • Lone Star (Floors 1 & 2)
  • Piney Woods (Floors 4-6)
  • Raven Village (Parts of Floors 2 & 3)
  • San Jacinto (Floor 2)
  • White Hall

Phase 2 - Renewal of Any Available Space for male residents only: March 5 from 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Areas Available for Renewal:

  • Bearkat Village
  • Campus Edge
  • Copper Village
  • Belvin (CAM only)
  • Jackson-Shaver
  • San Jacinto Studios (Seniors only)

Phase 3 - Renewal of Any Available Space for female residents only: March 6 from 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Areas Available for Renewal:

  • Bearkat Village
  • Campus Edge
  • Copper Village
  • Belvin (CAM only)
  • Jackson-Shaver
  • San Jacinto Studios (Seniors only)

Phase 4/FINAL PHASE - Renewal of Any Available Space for any current resident: March 7 from 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Areas Available for Renewal:

  • Bearkat Village
  • Campus Edge
  • Copper Village
  • Belvin (CAM only)
  • Jackson-Shaver
  • Sam Houston Village
  • San Jacinto Studios (Seniors only)
  • Those that participated in Phase 1-3 will be able to swap to any available space
