Faculty Evaluation - I.D.E.A. Forms
Faculty are evaluated by students in their assigned class, face-to-face and online, toward the end of fall and spring semesters. The timeline on the I.D.E.A. forms change from semester to semester. It is important to know that these forms are not OPTIONAL, they are MANDATORY. You cannot administer the forms to your students and cannot be present when they are filling them out. It is suggested that the instructor arrange with another instructor, teaching at a similar time, to administer the evaluation to each others class.
The Faculty Information Form (FIF), located inside the packet you receive, is your responsibility to fill out. You are to fill out this form before giving it to whoever is administering the I.D.E.A. forms to your class, and then place it back in the envelope. Failure to complete your Faculty Information Form can impact the considerations for rehire in future semesters. It is recommended that you contact your mentor or department chair prior to filling out the FIF or administering the I.D.E.A.forms.
